Results of Ultra Throw Club Championships 2024

BC Athletics officials measuring the weight throw at mcLeod athletic park

This year’s meet was held on September 15 at the McLeod Athletic Park in Langley and was a composite of youth, senior and masters athletes from our Club.

Weather conditions were ideal. There were three events that were contested by most of the participants which included the Throws Pentathlon, Throws Triathlon, and Super Weight Throw.

Shawn stevens and the super weight

Congratulations to Shawn Stevens who broke a BC record in the super weight throw.

We are grateful to the B.C. Athletics officials.

The meet was followed by our annual general meeting.

With each passing year, our Club goes from strength to strength. We will chalk out our off-season practice to keep various competitions coming up during 2025 in view so that we take off from where we have left now.

Thank you to the BCA officials and volunteers who supported our event.
