The sporting year of 2019 has been quite spectacular in many ways for the Ultra Throw. The vision of its president and coach, Dave McDonald, has been translated into action which in turn contributed to placing the Club on quite a high pedestal. It can boast of rubbing shoulders with the old and well established Athletic clubs and its members acquitted themselves rather creditably. The results produced by them speak volumes of their perseverance and hard work not only at the provincial level but at the Canadian as well as at the world level. The review of these results will show as to where our individual members and our Club stand per se. We have drawn lessons from this year’s competitions and have carried these home to ponder over them with a view to producing better results next year. The glimpses of the results as reflected in their standings in the Canadian and World Rankings will vouch for the strength of this fledgling Throws Club.
