Club Results: Greyhounds Multi-Meet

Ken, RObbin and Dave

On August 3-4, Ultra Throw masters members took on the Throws Pentathlon at the Combined Events Meet, hosted by Greyhounds Track & Field Club in Coquitlam at Percy Perry Stadium. This event, which brought together over 80 athletes from 20 clubs across Canada and the USA, was a fantastic display of dedication and competitive spirit.

Ultra Throw’s own David Ulis, Ken Townsend, and Robbin Whachell stepped up to represent our team, delivering impressive performances against strong competition. Here are their final results in the Throws Pentathlon:

  • David Ulis – 2927 points, winning 75+ Men’s Gold

  • Ken Townsend – 2112 points, earning 75+ Men’s Silver

  • Robbin Whachell – 2320 points, securing 60+ Women’s Bronze

These results are a testament to the hard work and skill of each athlete. A special thank you goes to the Greyhounds and the dedicated BC Athletics officials who made this event possible. Their hard work ensured a smooth, high-caliber meet that athletes and spectators alike could enjoy.

Congratulations to our athletes and to everyone who took part in this memorable event!
