The first 2023 Ultra Throw event will take place on Sunday, April 16 at McLeod Athletic Park, Langley, BC.
BC Athletics registered Masters athletes are invited to compete in the 2023 Ultra Throws Festival #1 in Hammer, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Weight, and Super Weight. Athletes are guaranteed 6 throws per event.
PLUS the Throws Triathlon (Shot Put/Discus/Javelin) and the Throws Pentathlon (Hammer/ Shot Put/ Discus/ Javelin / Weight).
NOTE: The first 3 attempts in each event are the ones used to determine the scores in the Throws Triathlon and the Throws Pentathlon. All members are asked to attend AND advise on club equipment at this time so that it can be inventoried.

Year-end BBQ and AGM set for Sept. 28

We’ll be holding a year-end BBQ on Saturday, September 21st starting at 11 am to be followed by our annual general meeting.
Both will take place in the picnic area (closest to 216 St.) of McLeod Athletic Park, in Langley.
We will present this year's awards which include the Challenge Trophy, the Ultra Cup, and the Ambassador of the Year.
Cost for the BBQ is $10 each and will include burgers, salads and beverages (non-alcoholic).
